Where do you learn?

First things first. We have to learn the basics from a book or your computer. Real life skills come later once we have gotten the academics down. Reading from your computer, in the comfort of your own home or on vacation is by far the easiest way to learn.

If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. Get your scuba diving certification with the PADI Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course.

E-Learning

Enrollment is easy, and you complete your academic training in the comfort of your own home. Once E-learning is completed & PRIOR to the first pool session, you will need to schedule a mandatory one-on-one academic review and course orientation session with one of our staff at A.U.T.S. Dive Center. Here you will take a quick, 20-question quiz to make sure it was you who completed the online course, and go over where you need to go and what you need to do to complete the course. (This is also a good time to purchase the equipment you will need for the course, such as masks, snorkel, wet suit boots and adjustable fins.) It’s easy , we promise!

Confined Water Training(pool)

We use the deepest pool in the city, Brandon Aquatic center and/or Interbay pool. When you’re fitted with your scuba equipment you can begin your pool training. Your instructor will put into practice the techniques you learned in the academics program. Your training dives will be logged and approved by your instructor before you move on to open water.

Open Water Training

Get ready to experience everything you’ve learned with the freedom of open water. We dive at many local dive sites in our area. As soon as your open water training dives are approved by your instructor you will be a certified diver. PADI Open Water Diver certification is recognized worldwide so your diving experiences will be limitless.

These are just a few of the dive sites we visit regularly.
