All with children their own age!
JUNIOR DIVER
Parents know what their children are able to do. Many 10 year olds are developmentally ready to dive within limits. This class requires that 10 and 11 year old junior divers dive with a parent, guardian or PADI professional. Dives must not exceed 40 feet. Call the dive shop for details. Course cost-$249.99
OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION
This is the beginning certification class for 10 year olds through adults. Three formats are available from which to choose. Weekend classes, weekly classes or private classes. Weekend classes are Friday nights and Saturdays for 3 weekends, plus the last Sunday. Weekly classes are Mondays and Wednesday nights, two Saturdays and the last Sunday. Private classes are held at your convenience. Course cost $249.99
ADVANCED CERTIFICATION
This is a great way to sample diving’s most popular specialties and expand your diving skills. Advanced divers can take specialty courses such as Boat Diver, Deep Diver, Search and Recovery, Wreck Diver and Underwater Photography, just to name a few. From there, divers can take further training and become Rescue Divers, Master Divers and even Instructors! Priced per course & trip.
RESCUE DIVER CERTIFICATION
The PADI Rescue diver program consists of several topic’s which include, self rescue, diver stress, diving first aid, emergency management, equipment problems and rescue assistance procedures for both conscious and unconscious victims on the surface and underwater. During Rescue training you’ll apply the knowledge development techniques learned in simulated hands -on rescue scenarios. You’ll learn to adapt your newfound skills to suit a variety of different situations, taking into account your physical attributes, those of the victim and the nature of the diving environment The program provides a “tool box” of techniques, skills, and knowledge for you to draw from in an emergency. This program will build your confidence as a diver, give you valuable experience in emergency management and prevention and heighten your awareness of the surrounding environment. Course cost $175.00
ENRICHED AIR “NITROX”
By diving with nitrox rather than standard air you can extend your no decompression limits, and isn’t that why we learned to dive in the first place. This means more time underwater. For example, if you dive to 80 feet on air, your no decompression limit is 25 minutes. But, diving on EANx32 gets you 45 minutes of no decompression time, (almost double the time in many circumstances)W.O.W. Course cost-$159.99
MASTER DIVER
Congratulation’s on your achievment’s. Your now on your way to becoming a PADI Master Scuba diver, the highest recreational rating in the PADI system of diver education. This expert diver classification is reserved for PADI rescue divers who have earned at least five PADI specialty course certifications and completed 50 logged dives. Challenge yourself to reach the highest sport certification obtainable.
DIVEMASTER/ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
It is difficult to establish a precise definition for the term DIVEMASTER, because the role is so diverse. There is, however, one common characteristic in virtually all definition’s of Divemaster that is helpful in understanding just what is meant by the term. Responsibility. the Divemaster is responsible for people, planning, orienting and at some time responsible for nearly every aspect of safe diving. This responsibility is a considerable one, and, therefore a decision to become a qualified PADI Divemaster is not one that should be made hastily. The rewards of being a Divemaster, however in terms of personnel satisfaction and achievement, are unparalleled. For those who decide that scuba diving can be more than a recreational endeavor and are interested in exploring the professional potential it may hold, acquiring the PADI Divemaster rating is an essential step in the process. The decision to pursue this goal is to be commended, and it is our hope that this course will only be the beginning of a journey that will take the serious diver into an entirely different realm of diving-the realm of the professional. Please contact our store for more information at (813) 875-2376.
