Spearfishing Specialties was formed in 1988 by Kevin & Cindy Bruington. We began as a small speargun rigging and “after market” custom modification business. Local spearfishermen in the Tampa Bay area heard about these special modifications that Kevin was doing to wood Sea Hornet spearguns and they quickly jumped on the bandwagon. These modifications quickly became the “gotta have” addition for the serious shooters.
